We partnered with TLC for a graphics refresh that celebrates the broad range of emotions in their programming. This refresh would reach all global properties for the first time ever, so we took on the challenge of standardizing TLC’s visual language across the world. We created a package that lets TLC’s authentic characters and their stories just be themselves in any language.
To reflect their content, TLC’s brand colors are bold, fun, and multifaceted. This gave us a starting place to expand the palette with three additional hues: Lipstick, Onyx and Prince. Bringing even more energy, mood and depth.
We updated the network with several expressive, handwritten fonts that can add personality to any project on any platform. And we took Elaine, TLC’s proprietary handwritten font, on a trip around the world, customizing it for additional alphabets like Turkish, Cyrillic, Polish, and more.
